Who are We

We are part of NTT Ltd which is a leading, global technology services company.  Through the work, we do with our clients and in our communities, we find ways that technology can make a positive impact.

What is the purpose of this campaign?

Our team member Naveen Kumar needs your help urgently. He has been part of our Hyderabad NTT Oakton team for 2 years now, working within the Sales Operations and Enablement space.

He is 30 years old and been suffering from COVID-19 related complications for a month now. He seemed to have recovered from COVID-19 on 22 May, however, on 27 May, he had to be rushed to the hospital and put on ventilator as the virus was still present in his body. On the same day, Naveen lost his father to COVID-19.

After 3-4 days on ventilator, he showed signs of improvement and was considered out of danger, but unfortunately he was diagnosed with black fungus in his sinus and he had to undergo surgery for this.

Things looked better. However, fate had different plans. Within a few days of being discharged for the second time, Naveen started getting ulcers on the right side of his mouth. Doctors have confirmed that the black fungus infection has reached his jaw. The right part of his upper jaw and a part of the dental area will now immediately need to be removed through another surgery and follow-up treatments would carry on for the next 6 to 8 months.

The cost for this surgery is around USD 11,000 (appx. INR 8 Lakhs). His family has already spent close to USD 17,500 (appx. INR 13 Lakhs) out of which only USD 5,400 (INR 4 Lakhs) has been covered by the insurance.
