I am from Shree Ganadhipati Gandharaharya Kunthusagar Wishwasodh Sansthan, a trust which was registered in 1980 under the trust act of 1976, and that has been a torchbearer in the society since it's inception.
In this hour of India's fight against COVID-19, we came forward to provide food to daily wagers, homeless and other people affected by the curfew imposed Kolhapur. This initiative is about giving them healthy meals twice a day with the meals being delivered directly to them. We are currently delivering more than 4000 meals a day and we'll do until the lockdown is lifted. The demand for food packets is more than we can imagine, no one can account for it and that is what troubles us.

Started on 28th March 2020, we have successfully distributed more than one lakh (100000) meals and 3000 ration bags to date. Key food distribution points have been identified in and around Kolhapur.
Earlier this was started with the help of trust with more than 4000 meals every day, and today we have been allotted various locations and asked to support many more people in need by the Maharashtra government, and to distribute in collaboration with them.
