Namma Pride and Karnataka Queer Habba 2019

Bangalore Namma Pride & Karnataka Queer Habba strives to bring about a society described by George Takei above.
In a landmark verdict on September 6th, 2018, the Supreme Court read down the controversial Section 377- a 158-year-old colonial law criminalizing homosexuality, saying "History Owes an Apology to the LGBT People".
We have got legal acceptance; but, is the society ready to accept us?
Bangalore Namma Pride & Karnataka Queer Habba’s current efforts are largely focused on bringing about a more inclusive and acceptable society. We organise Bangalore pride marches every November and several events during the pride month and throughout the year with the sole purpose of bringing about a more acceptable society.
We can’t do this alone, we need YOU.
