Bangalore Namma Pride and Karnataka Queer Habba embody this vision — striving to create a society that truly celebrates diversity, inclusion, and equality.

In a landmark verdict on September 6, 2018, the Supreme Court of India read down the colonial-era Section 377, decriminalizing homosexuality and declaring that “History owes an apology to the LGBT people.

While this was a monumental step towards legal acceptance, the question still remains: Is our society ready to truly accept us?

At Bangalore Namma Pride & Karnataka Queer Habba, our ongoing efforts are focused on building that acceptance — creating spaces where everyone, regardless of gender or sexuality, can live freely and with dignity. Every November, we organize the Bangalore Pride March, along with several events throughout the year that celebrate visibility, awareness, and inclusion.

But we cannot do this alone — we need YOU.
