Last year, I took on a challenge with the Bali Hope team to raise funds for the Bali Children’s Foundation by cycling 397 km around Bali. We initially set out to raise $2500 and ended up raising $5800 that went towards the education of 45 underprivileged kids. I am extremely grateful to the Bali Hope team for the opportunity and support and to everyone who contributed to the cause.
As we all know, the second wave of the pandemic has hit our country really hard and our team of volunteers at Cause is Life have been doing everything in their capacity to help our fellow citizens fight the deadly virus.
Since I have been here in India amidst all this, I have decided to take on another challenge this year, with the goal to raise funds towards educating underprivileged children in my hometown, Kasargod in Kerala. The aim is to walk from Kasargod to Kanyakumari covering 600+ km over 21 days. All funds raised will be donated to Najath educational and charitable society which is a local organization in Kerala.
I have been blessed with friends and family who have supported and motivated me in all my endeavors thus far and I am looking forward to receiving the same amount of love and support this time as well.
Stay strong. Stay safe.
