This is a 22 year male, Mr N Nagaraju, resident of Srikakulam, newly diagnosed case of Aplatc anemia, blood products transfusion dependent.He requires blood and platelets transfusion at-least once in a week. He requires treatment at the earliest possible date. Otherwise he may have to go with lifelong blood and platelets transfusion to survive. Or else he may land up in life threatening bleeding infections including Intra-cranial(Brain) bleeding which may cost his life.
Ideally, he requires a Bone marrow transplant in case if a full HLA matched donor is available with success rate of 80%. It may offer him a permanent cure to his disease. This costs him approximately 15 to 20 lakhs for BMT and Post-transplant care.

If no fully matched HLA donor available, next option would be Equine ATG + Immuno suppressive medication. it gives a success rate of 60%. It costs him around 8-10 lakhs with Indian brands of drugs.
