Save the Desi Cows who are dying of hunger in Karnataka

Hello all kindhearted folks,

We are a group of like minded who are dedicated in saving innocent Desi cattle who are dying because there is no enough fodder to feed them in many rural villages of Karnataka. Everytime we locate villages where the cows are starving or underfed  due to famine or other harsh conditions.
Cows are very important asset to a farmer in producing a good yield of crops.
Please help us to save more cows by your kind donations. Also please inform your friends to help us.

one tractor load of fodder costs 7000/- INR
at present we need to provide for 1050 cows

Appreiciate your time

Hello,

We are providing fodder to the drought hit areas of Challakere Taluk,  where there is a community taking care of cows called " Devera  Ettugalu', ( God's cows). There is a practice among the people of these villages to donate a cow to the village diety when anything good happens to them.  This practice is from time immemorial to support the people " Khillaris", who take care of the cows by donating cows to them in the name of Gods and these people live by taking care of these cows and donations in form of food grains from the villagers. They graze the cows in the forest areas. The lack of rainfall from last 3 years has led to drought and scarcity of fodder in these areas.

We are providing fodder to these cattle herd from January.
We have supplied with 7 tractor loads of dry paddy fodder procured from paddy growers in Andhra to Gourasamudra village on January 6,2019.They have 120 cows.
Recipients: Obanna and family.
We have provided 7 tractor loads of fodder on April 21,2019 to 264 cows in Bommadevrahatti,  Challakere Taluk.
Recipients: Khillari Jogaiah and family.

We have provided 3 tractor loads of fodder in Boodihalli on April 22, 2019. They are having 30 cows.
Recipients: Bommaiah and family.

We have provided 3 tractor loads of maize fodder on May 5, 2019, in the village of  Neljamnhatti, Challakere Taluk. They are having 200 cows and 50 calves.
Recipient: Siddesh.

We have provided 3 tractor loads of fodder in Byadareddyhalli, which is having 135 cows, on May 5, 2019.

So far we have provided 23 tractor loads of fodder at the cost of 1,60000 rupees.
We procured the fodder initially from the paddy growers of Andhra-Karnataka border.

Now we are sourcing maize fodder which is supposed to be strength giving to the cows which have become weak due to summer heat and starvation.  This is procured from the people who grow maize for fodder purposes in the dam back waters of Andhra-Karnataka.  We are paying 7000 rupees per tractor load of fodder.

Regards,
Mythri.
