My mother was diagnosed with Kidney failure in October 2017 and after a few months, the doctor advised to start dialysis urgently after extensive checkups. Since then she is on dialysis and undergoes 3 times in a week. Dialysis is really hurting and Painfull. We didn't have the financial capabilities to have a transplant. We don't have so much money to give my mother a new and better life. ☹️
Her health deteriorated so bad in November 2018 that we went to Christain Medical College(CMC) in Vellore without having any prior appointment. She was kept under life support due to her inability to breath properly. Doctors identified that apart from Kidney failure she has also developed Pneumonia and Lungs infection. We stayed in Vellore for a month and when the money ran out, we had to return home. We were unable to visit after 3 months for follow-up checkup prescribed by the doctors on discharge due to financial constraints.
Since then regular dialysis has become the only way for my mother to survive.
She often wishes to have her life like before. Drink a lot of waters, eat everything she likes and always stay away from fat needles injected during dialysis. She always wishes to visit her native village ( dialysis facility is not available there )
Many times she became so unconscious and agonizing due to her pain that we lose our hope for her survival.
She regularly asks if she is going to be fit and fine as before. We lie to her every time that her Creatinine Level is decreasing and soon she will be fine but in reality, her Creatinine Level increases.
Talking about my family background, We are lower-middle-class people. My father is an electrician and the only bread-winner in the family. He is so kind and down to earth. He had never seen luxury in his life. He spends whatever he earns on his family, he rarely spends a rupee on himself.
I really wish my mother to have a kidney transplant but we don't have that much amount. Me and my father is always ready to donate our kidney to my mother.
We really need your support to have my mother rest of her life to be without pain and suffering. She always wishes to see the wedding of his daughter.
Help her, help my family, help us in our adversity.
