Story

Please support Supriya Banerjee(Doli), who is fighting Stage 3 Ovary cancer

Mrs Supriya Banerjee, a loving and caring mother, wife and home maker suffering from Stage 3 Ovary cancer is undergoing treatment at AIIMS, BBSR. It started around March 2021 when she started to feel low-grade pain in her abdomen. We took her to a genecology and after initial assessment it was clear that a malignant tumor  has been formed in her ovaries, she was recommended for oncology department. The oncology doctors suggested for a CT scan and by that time it was eminent that the cancer has metastasized to other organs. So the immediate course of action doctors suggested was 3 cycle of chemotherapy followed by a surgery and post surgery 3 cycle of chemotherapy. After 1st 3 cycle of chemo she goes through CT scan again for assessment, but there were no to very minor progress in her situation, so doctor advised another 3 rounds of chemotherapy. In 21st of October she had a major surgery and now will be going through another 3 cycle of targeted chemotherapy(1 session cost approximately 50 k).

Her husband Mr. Ashish Banerjee is a retired low paid state government employee, surviving on their pensions & savings. Their only son have begun his career in the recent past, which would not allow him to fulfilled the financial requirement to save his mother. They have already exhausted a huge chunk of their savings in the last 6 months, which has amounted to 4-5 Lakhs.

The family is going to face a financial shortfall soon enough and will need funds to continue her treatment. A humble request to help contribute towards the treatment, for which their family, would be eternally grateful.
