    This fundraiser will benefit

    Mrs. Ruqaiya Arif Siddiqui

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

Few months back my mother had to undergo surgery for Cauda Equiana (Foot Drop) since then she started limping, she already has Type 2 Diabtes, High Blood Pressure and Heart Conditions, She was tested COVID positive on April 25th and since then she has developed multiple complications owing to the virus, heart conditions and Diabetes. Due to this condition, she started having difficulty in breathing within few days of testing positive. We admitted her to the hospital on May 4th and she was in the ER on a respirator for the first few days. On May 7th her oxygen levels went drastically down to 86 with Oxygen Support. She was then shifted to ICCU and ever since the doctors have been struggling to keep her oxygen levels up.

The hospital is charging about Rs.55,000 per day (~751 USD) for her treatment and the doctor’s assessment is that she continues to stay in the ICCU for atleast a week more to get her oxygen levels to stabilize. The total estimated expenses will come up to Rs.5.5Lakhs (~7505 USD) for the whole treatment. Our family and friends were kind enough to pool about Rs.1 Lakh (~1365 USD) so far. As a sole bread winner of my family, I am speechless as to where to get the rest of the funds from. After accounting the money that I have saved and the support that I have already received, I am trying to raise a final difference goal of Rs.3 Lakh (~4095 USD) through this campaign.

My mother is a single parent and she always has been a survivor. As she fights for her life with Covid today, I am requesting you to please help me financially and your prayers will help her get better. Any contribution you choose to make is really appreciated and I will be ever so grateful to you for saving my mother’s life.

Thanks for your support!
Sincerely - Junaid Siddiqui
