'There is no greater disability than the inability to see a person as more’
We are a team of 4 students from the Cathedral and John Connon School’s IGCSE program: Anika Shah, Madhav Kothari, Dhairya Parikh and Dia Sippy. As part of our Team Project for the Global Perspectives subject coursework, we have decided to work on the topic of ‘The Lack of Inclusivity of Differently-Abled People in the Workplace’ and have therefore created this initiative ‘Field for the Unique'. To cut to the chase, our aim is to provide differently abled people with jobs in order to help them sustain their level of life or improve the quality of their lifestyle. The money collected through online portals will be effectively used to help them learn skills through workshops, supply them with basic stationery, help them with transportation costs, supply them with a place to live and other miscellaneous requirements for them to prepare them for their job.
The candidate we are working with currently is Mr Mahesh Dhebe. Even though he is visually impaired, he has completed his entire education and is looking to secure a job with Swaraaj Fashions. We would really appreciate if you’ll could donate a small amount of money to aid us and him in this journey.
