My mother got up from bed at 2am in HCG Panda Cancer Hospital and asked me, "when will we go back home?"
With tears in my eyes I replied, " as soon as you be okay" unable to disclose how severe her Acute Myeloid Lukemia(blood cancer) has reached.
We lived in slums for more than 20 years and my parents worked as labourers and waiters to earn 2 chapattis per day for their son. Now my father is too old to work. When i started working in gym,i brought my parents to a better place.
But only after a year of shifting the place, my world turned upside down when my mother was diagnosed with blood cancer. All her life she fought to give us a better life and now when I thought that time has come to give my mother all happiness of world,fate has decided to take my mother away from me forever.Every minute my mother is fighting with death and I am helpless.
I have sold everything what I had. My savings are not even 5% of what is required for the treatment. How will i save my mother? Will my mother really die? Doctor says with timely treatment she can be saved but we need money for that. I want to take my mother to TMH,Mumbai but I know I cant afford that. PLEASE HELP THIS BEGGING SON. LET ME STAY WITH MY MOTHER A LITTLE LONGER.
