While #COVID-19 has infected millions of people in India in the last few months, #Amphan, one of the strongest cyclones to hit the subcontinent in recent times, ravaged a few million livelihoods in West Bengal on 20th May in just a few hours. The devastation of Amphan has disrupted the lives of people who have already lost so much because of the lockdown.

#MMSSSL (Manirampur Mahila Silpa Samabaya Samiti Ltd), a non-profit Women Cooperative Society primarily working for the self-empowerment of underprivileged women in rural India is organizing a fundraising campaign to stand by them and create a much-needed lifeline for these homeless & helpless people in this heartbreaking time of distress.

Millions of people have lost their basics - food, clothes and shelter! It is time to stand together and help each other. While the state and the central governments are doing what they can, numerous other organizations, NGOs, student groups, and locals are doing their bit to help.
