I express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped us till now. My mother is stable now, however, she needs a parathyroidectomy — a surgery to remove parathyroid glands that have developed tumours. Though non-cancerous, and benign, the parathyroid tumors have led to other health complications. Without the surgery, she will not be able to recover fully and continue to have health issues such as hypercalcaemia and related problems. Hence, I request all of you to kindly contribute to the funds further and also share/forward the message to your family, friends and acquaintances. A small help will take us long way.
An appeal for help
My mother, Mrs. Mithila Paranjape, has been hospitalized for the third time in the last two months. She was treated for COVID in April. However, she developed multiple health complications post-discharge, including hypokalemia ( severe potassium deficiency), hyperammonemia, severe constipation, delirium and disorientation. Currently, she is in ICU at Heera Mongi Navneet Hospital at Mulund (West) in Mumbai. She has began to respond to the treatment slowly and doctors say there is still hope if her potassium level is corrected. But she'll need ICU care for some more time and will be shifted to general ward after that. Our finances have taken a major hit over this period and hence I request you all to help me raise money us by contributing whatever you can for her treatment.
