Hello Everyone,
I am Jeslin Daniel, the sister of Melwin Daniel. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to ask for your support. My brother Melwin, a 23-year-old, recently faced a devastating road traffic accident that has left him with life-threatening injuries. He has undergone multiple surgeries, including the amputation of his right arm, and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru.
The doctors have diagnosed him with severe polytrauma, including a complex fracture of his humerus, blunt trauma to his chest and abdomen, and a mild traumatic brain injury. Melwin’s condition is critical, and he will need prolonged medical care, further surgeries, and extensive rehabilitation to recover.
The estimated cost of his treatment is approximately Rs. 40 lakhs, with daily ICU expenses ranging from Rs. 50,000 to 70,000. So far, we have managed to cover part of the expenses, but we are quickly exhausting all our resources. As the sole breadwinner of our family, I am doing everything I can, but we are in urgent need of your help to continue Melwin's treatment.
We are seeking to raise Rs. 25 lakhs through this campaign to ensure Melwin gets the best possible medical care. Every contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in saving my brother's life.
