Hello Everyone,
My name is Tanmay Chaturvedi and we are raising fund for my friend Mayank Pathak's father Mr. Sanjay Pathak.
Mr. Sanjay Pathak, age 52 years, single parent of two children who works in a firm as a Senior Manager has been diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis for past 2 years. Liver Cirrhosis is sometimes called end-stage liver disease because it happens after other stages of damage from conditions that affects the liver. But, in case of Mr. Sanjay Pathak, this disease is cryptogenic which means that the reason or cause of the disease is unknown. Mr. Sanjay Pathak is a modest and a humble person who neither drinks nor smokes. He lives with his two children(a son and a daughter) and with his parents in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
For past 30-35 days, his condition have been worsened and he has been hospitalized three times in this month(January 2023) itself in emergency situation at private Hospital, Vaishali because all the end stage symptoms like ascites(too much fluid builds up in abdomen), Hepatic encephalopathy (nervous system disorder brought on by severe liver disease) have started to show up.
Dr. Ushast dhir, Vice Chairperson at Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation at Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi says that the liver is hardly functioning and they have advised for an immediate transplant.
Mayank Pathak (age 22) will be donating his liver to his father Mr. Sanjay Pathak to save his life.
The transplant cost would be around 25 Lacs and the letter for same is attached which has been recommended by the Dr. Ushast dhir who will be performing the transplant surgery.
Living donor liver transplant will be performed considering the emergency of transplant and the transplant have to be done within next 10 days.
Mayank is the oldest child at his home and he is a hardworking person who always looks after his grandparents, his father and his younger sister. He is been trying his best to make this treatment possible by donating his own liver and save life of his father who is the single parent of two children, Mayank Pathak and Shipra Pathak. Since, Mayank is still studying and his father being sick, they do not have any source of savings or income to take care of this treatment.
Mayank has been a friend of mine for the past 12 years and we are trying our best to support our friend and his family in any way possible.
This is a tough time and situation for Pathak family and for that I am humbly requesting your financial support to assist Mayank and his father in receiving this treatment.
The surgery is likely to happen sometime in next 1-2 weeks.
Hence, I would like to request all of you to come forward and extend your possible financial support by contributing in a big or small way so that life of Mr. Sanjay Pathak is saved and in turn his family is not shattered.
