I am Maya.
I am 77 years. My husband is Mr. Achintya Kumar Roy who is 85now. He is not well and I don’t know how and where I can get funds to take care of his health. He is blind due to Glaucoma. I am myself a heart patient. I do not have any support system and I have no income. I have exhausted all the savings I had in his treatment and medical expenses but these expenses keep adding up. I cannot just not do anything and watch him suffer.
I am requesting help to tide us over the paucity of funds and let us live the coming days with dignity.
These are our financial details-
My Husband’s and mine normal medicine cost is 4,500 rupees per month and since last 5 years my husband needs an injection in both eye for each and every month and the same cost 12,500/, that is total 17,000/- per month – for the current year. So for 1 year it is 2,04,000/-
If I took average as 2,25,000/-(As the rates of medicine keep changing) per year and if we both live for another 5 years the cost for the medicine only comes – 11,25,000/-. If any one of us dies the cost will reduce or if any one of us get more complication then God knows.
