My father, Mr. Mark Peppin, is 63 years old and was forced to retire in 2017, at the age of 59, due to the amputation of his right leg. If not for the forcible retirement, my father could have continued working for another 5 to 6 years. The amputation was a difficult yet necessary procedure required as a result of a road accident that my father was in; his diabetic condition also played a role in this. He had also undergone a retinal surgery 10 years ago due to his diabetes.
On September 4, 2021, my father suffered a massive heart attack and under went an angiogram on the same day. Upon further investigation it was revealed that he has four blockages and needs to undergo an open heart surgery (requiring 4 bypasses) soon.
As this sudden and overwhelming crisis looms over us, my family and I reach out to you, our friends, for your prayers and support. This unprecedented time is quite challenging for us to overcome by ourselves. Should you choose to contribute, please know that you will always be remembered for your generosity.
