Gunjan Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered under Niti Aayog, Government Of India founded in the year 2004 by Ms. Sushma Singhvi with a mission to pursue educational and other welfare programs for the underprivileged. We are registered under the Society Registration Act (XXI) of 1860. We provide 80G certificate to our donors. We are also registered under FCRA.

We have come a long way from our initial establishment of Nursery, KG, and 1st grades and now the school is operating till 5th grade. It is a matter of great pride for us that because of our excellent reputation in surrounding areas when our children pass out they are quickly absorbed by good private schools. We are privileged to inform you that the “Shabd Nagari” Organisation has selected us as one of the Top 10 NGOs in Delhi working devotedly and sincerely in the field of education.

Presently, the Foundation runs a school from Nursery through class V where about 210 students are enrolled. Swapna Sarthak School is run completely free of cost. We do not charge any fee and provide notebooks, course books, stationery, summer, winter, and taekwondo uniforms and a mid-day meal, etc.

This year our session went online and initially all classes were being managed through WhatsApp but now we are also taking live classes for classes IV and V. Around 20 students from each class are able to attend these live classes and for other students who are still in their villages, we are following the WhatsApp methodology only.

We are also providing scholarships to our alumni; we have 66 students in Shishu Kalyan High School, Gurugram.  We are happy to inform you that all our students are doing very well for themselves, are working hard at academics, and striving to improve even more.

We continue to strongly believe that education is the key to building a strong nation. Literacy does more for society in one generation than anything else. It does away with age-old rudimentary customs, ill beliefs, superstition, etc.

Like any social organization, financial inputs are indispensable for our daily activities and finance continues to be an endless struggle. It is our sincere endeavor that this financial constraint should not come in the way of working towards our goal and with help from you, we can achieve our dream.

2.Scholarship to be able to support those of our students who have passed out of our school and are now in regular schools.
While we go about our everyday operations at school in a smooth manner, behind the scenes is always a struggle...a struggle to improve our standards to bring them as close to private schools as possible, to offer our children the best opportunities, etc.
