We aim to eliminate the stigma around malnutrition and provide low-cost, nutritious food with essential knowledge that empowers communities to break the cycle of poverty and illness.
Our Mission: Empowering Through Food and Education
1. Free Meal Distribution: We're in Kolkata, providing free, nutritious meals to underprivileged, displaced, financially vulnerable, and refugee children.
2. Nutrition Education: Knowledge is power. We're training women as Culinary Educators who will spread critical nutrition knowledge within their communities.

About the Mobile Teaching Kitchen International Initiative
The MTK model is a nutrition education tool that aims to tackle food insecurity and malnutrition. It improves diet and health outcomes in underserved and marginalized communities with various socioeconomic backgrounds. The program serves as a community hub for malnutrition prevention, health promotion, and disease prevention. With grassroots action research, the MTK trains marginalized women to become micro-entrepreneurs and culinary health educators, with the potential to improve Nutrition-related Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) across multiple sectors of society.
The MTK model directly impacts the lives and livelihoods of participating communities and strengthens community resilience by facilitating knowledge around access to lower-cost healthy diets and associated information on adopting healthier dietary patterns, thereby improving food and nutrition security.
