The 2019 floods in five districts of Western Maharashtra has affected over 4 lakh people. About 2,00,000 people were evacuated. Properties worth crores were damaged due to flooding and are still submerged under water in many areas. Close to 20000 domestic cattle are feared dead. As water was logged for more than 7 days, almost all the crops are lost in affected areas.
