Healthcare provided to migrant workers & their families affected by Covid19 & Amphan cyclone at Odisha villages.
As we are engaged in COVID-19 Relief and helping migrants we were facing financial issues to support the needy and vulnerable during this Cyclone. Last year during FANI we had engaged almost 40 volunteers in multiple locations starting from Cyclone. But most of our volunteers despite being fully trained under disaster management were working with different Quarantine Centers where migrants are staying. Still, we readied our selves with three disaster response teams who are trained under Civil defense. We targeted two Districts Jagatsingpur and Puri for almost 50,000 people are evacuated. These people have only KUCHCHA Houses and have life risks. We were also ready with disaster response tools like tree cutter, pump, emergency light, ropes, etc with our team for the quick response
