My dearest friend and dance partner, Manoj Kumar is a kind, wonderful, compassionate and giving human being. He is also an incredibly talented dancer, who sets any stage on fire with his energy and infectious personality. He's a patient and loving teacher who gives generously to his students.

A few weeks ago, Manoj suffered a stroke in the left temporal lobe of his brain. Thankfully, he is now getting the treatment he needs, and is on the road to recovery. However, the road is a long and expensive one, which his family will find very difficult to afford. The stroke has affected his speech centre and he's suffering from aphasia and difficulties with reading and writing. The medical bills that have accumulated in the past few weeks have already depleted his family's modest savings, and he will need to be on expensive medication and therapy for the foreseeable future.
