Manishankar is 19 year old son of Shanti. He is has been suffering from renal failure since 2014.
He had to discontinue his schooling (10th Std) due to extremely poor health. Unfortunately, he was one of the 16 patients who developed HCV positive due to a case of medical negligence at Stanley Govt hospital.
After a lot of struggle and constant dialysis, 5 years later in Jan 2019 he underwent Kidney transplant at a private hospital.

Just when things were looking better after the transplant, Manishankar acquired severe infection for which he has been hospitalised once again and needs treatment.
Manishankar Before his Renal failureManishankar hails from an economically weaker family and his mother quit her stitching work to take care of his medical needs and his father is a daily wage construction labourer. Their monthly income on good months does not exceed 12,000 Rs.
