    This fundraiser will benefit

    Mamta Joshi Mukherjee

    from Kolkata, West Bengal

Like millions of others in India, the second wave of Covid has impacted my family too. Mamta Joshi Mukherjee, my youngest sister has been undergoing  Covid treatment in Medica Hospital in Kolkata.

Mamta Joshi Mukherjee, a homemaker,  is 40 years old and lives in Kolkata, West Bengal with her 6 years old son, husband, and in-law.  Mamta's husband, who is in the travel industry lost his job last year due to the Covid situation worldwide, with no income from any source to date.

She is suffering from Covid -19 for the last 30 days. She is currently admitted and receiving ECMO treatment at Medica Superspeciality Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Late in April, Mamta's family including in-laws and 6-year-old son contracted Covid 19 and like any responsible and caring daughter in law would do, she took immense care of them and saw them through their recovery but unfortunately, she contracted Covid 19 on 8th of May and she was immediately hospitalized. Her lungs were severely affected and showed damage of 85% (21/25 HRCT SCORE).

Initially, she was admitted in ICU and then shifted to Ventilator on 22nd of May and then shifted to ECMO support on 31st of May.

Right now, Mamta is in CCU1 1st-floor Bed no 6.

The hospitalization cost to date has been around 25 lacs, which we've arranged from savings, loans & selling assets.

The expected further cost would be around Rs 50,00,000  ( Fifty lacs) for the ECMO treatment which includes  Rs.10,00,000 ( Ten lacs ) for post ECMO support and rehab.

Please come forward to support Mamta by keeping her in your prayers. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family. We would be eternally grateful for the help and support of each and every one of you.
