Imagine a bunch of people who make a living by making other people famous!
Imagine a bunch of people who spend 12 to 14 odd hours trying to actually get us "authentic news"...

Now imagine those very people jobless and not having gotten a salary for 6 months!

Yes!

Our journalists have been facings retrenchment and states of 6 months of being salary less.
And NOW...they face POVERTY!

Many of then are staring at Poverty and Starvation - with no immediate way out!

Yes there shall be a new age media coming up - but till then these journalists may be struggling for life.

Their salary ranges were between Rs 5000 to Rs 9000 - and they havent seen anything in their accounts for 6 months or even more...

With 2 defined issues:
1. Joblessness due to retrenchment or being asked to move out
2. Being on rolls and not getting a salary

We (2 friends) + The Butterfly Project Foundation + Youth 4 Change have decided to join hands in helping these very journalists till then can get back up and earn.

Phase 1 we shall cover Jharkhand (Ranchi, Hazaribagh,  Ramgarh, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad) , Bihar (Patna, Munger, Gaya,Banka, Buxar) and UP (Varanasi, Lucknow) based Journalists facing poverty and possible starvation.

In addition we shall be covering Mumbai and Delhi.
