Our father is suffering from severe heart failure with an LVEF of 15% and undergoing treatment at KIMS Secunderabad. We have completed an evaluation for a heart transplant, but it does not appear to be a feasible option. Based on the doctors' recommendations, a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) is our only viable option. The surgery for this procedure will cost approximately 1 crore. We have already spent 20 lakhs on symptomatic management following his myocardial infarction about two months ago. Currently, he is unable to breathe properly without inotropic support.

He has dedicated his life to teaching in a small town near Bhopal and remains deeply committed to contributing to the education of others. He also instilled strong values in us,thanks to his guidance, I completed my undergraduate studies at IIT Roorkee and earned a Ph.D. from the University of Houston. I am currently working at Cummins Inc. My younger brother completed his MBBS from SNMC Jaipur and his postgraduate studies in respiratory medicine from SDMH Jaipur. He was scheduled to begin his super speciality course at ESIC Delhi, but it has been delayed due to the current situation.
