24-year-old Lokesh Wani met with a life-threatening road accident at 9:30 pm on 4th August.
After falling off a bike, a truck ran over his left upper arm and shoulder, severing the artery that supplies blood to the left arm.

After a 9-hour delay, he was operated upon at S.L. Raheja Hosp to save his left arm. The surgery was successful, and he is currently under observation in the ICU.

The hosp has estimated an approx cost of Rs. 5,00,000/- for his care and, possibly, another surgery.
