Bibhudatta Panda , a software executive based in Chennai,  sets out on his bike every noon to distribute food packets to the poor on the road. He feeds about 50 on weekdays and doubles that number on weekends. He runs Let’s Feed the Needy, a non-profit organization. “Sometimes, people get their first meal of the day at around 2 pm when I reach them with the food and their satisfaction is my joy,” says, Bibhudatta Panda. Their major focus is on 3 areas, 1. Zero hunger 2. Education for all 3. Critical healthcare.

"I go sit with them, open the food packet, give them water. It is just, you know...you’ll cry sometimes watching them eat. This is how I started lets feed the needy. I go to a lot of local areas like the station, bus stop to distribute food and clothes."

"Education is our core moto of Lets Feed The Needy. We are sponsoring kids from standard 2 to almost Post Graduation. We verify the case if they are really in need, or a single parent or an orphan, we support them. We never look at the cast or community they belong to."

"We financially support critical disease patients fighting cancer, kidney failure, and major accidents. I remember one of our success stories, of a 3-month-old kid who had an open heart surgery. We arranged for money, and the surgery was a success. I remember when she got discharged from the hospital it was a priceless feeling. Still as of today, the family is in touch with me. This is how our critical healthcare started. As of now, we have supported many patients. But it's difficult sometimes, it's very difficult. We need funds to help these people in need."

"We have also adopted many orphanages in Chennai. We're providing them with all the basic necessities, every month. We take them for a yearly outing to a theme park or movie theatre, because they don't have anyone else to take them around. We are their family. During Diwali, we give them gifts, clothes. It might be a small thing for us, getting a new dress but for them, it's a big thing. And every festival we give them sweets. Looking at the long run, their life has been impacted for the better. When I see some kids who we adopted to support their education, 3 years back, and now, there's a drastic dramatic change in them."

"Being able to provide the needy is an honor for me. It's a humble request, join us, we need financial support so that we can reach many more people who we are not able to currently provide for solely because of lack of funds. Help us serve happiness."
