    from Delhi-NCR

Let’s Educate Children In Need (LECIN) is a non-profit organization registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882 on 11th March 2016.  The operations of the organization were started in 2015 by the team of 3 alumni of Delhi University - Nupur Bhardwaj, Ankush Panwar and Rohit Kumar.

After working with children of primary and secondary grades for nearly 4 years, they realized that there is a dire need to develop early literacy and language skills in children so that they acquire adequate skills and abilities that all children need before entering into preparatory grades.

THE PROBLEM :

Formulating a plan for these problems, Team LECIN set up its first Balwadi in Okhla, Delhi in April 2019. The main objective of the Balwadi for children of age 3-6 years, the aim is to facilitate optimum development of the child’s full potential and lay the foundation for all round development and lifelong learning.

OUR FOCUS :

HOW WE GO ABOUT IT?
IMPACT :
Watch Kishu's story to know how we are creating a difference in the lives of these children -

There are many children like Kishu & parents like Kanchan, who are often misguided & misinformed about the early childhood development.  It has been observed that children enrolled for at least one year of pre-schooling are more likely to develop the critical skills they need to succeed in higher grades and less likely to drop out or repeat the classes.

Here's how you can help -
Plans for this year -

After working on Early Childhood Education for 2 years, we are now planning to expand the horizon of our work by training more Anganwadi workers & pre-school teachers to ensure optimal and holistic development of young children from low income communities. This year, we plan to provide quality early learning to at least 500 children.

You can help us make learning accessible to more children. Once you have donate, please do share the campaign further.

Even the smallest contribution can make a positive impact on someone in need!
