My mother says this is normal, a woman's burden, but I refuse to let it define my future or stop me from learning. I yearn to be in school every single day, fearlessly chasing my dream.”

The numbers paint a stark picture: reports indicate almost 30% of girls in India's rural schools miss class during their periods. Even more alarming, UNICEF highlights that 1 in 5 girls drop out of school entirely after reaching puberty, simply because they cannot manage their menstruation with dignity. This isn't merely an inconvenience; it's a profound systemic barrier that denies countless young minds their fundamental right to education, stifles their potential, and dims their bright futures.
