Lavanya is a cook, with 2 little daughters. She works at multiple houses to secure a living. Since the pandemic hit, it has been difficult for her to manage work whilst taking care of her husband and children.

Her husband recently fell sick, developing kidney stones that needs immediate attention. Previously, he had met with an accident and that resulted in him being unemployed for a long time duration.

Considering the current condition of his, Lavanya is finding it difficult to bear the expense of the surgery. The surgery costs around 90K. She has already taken multiple advances on her salary to cover the costs of scans, tests and treatments. Currently, she is the sole earner of the family.
