My name is Risha Singh. I am raising funds for my mother, Krishna Singh, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2023 and has since been under treatment at Mahamana Pandit Madanmohan Malviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi.

My father passed away in 2012 after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer, leaving our family not only emotionally and physically devastated but also financially drained. My mother, since then, took up the responsibility and struggled to raise her 4 children. It is now heart-breaking to see her struggle for her own life. We do not want to lose our mother, too. As the eldest daughter, now the responsibility is on me to sustain our family and provide my mother with the care and treatment. I am the sole-earner in the family. I am working while continuing my studies along with caregiving.
 
Over the past 20 months of my mother’s treatment, we have exhausted every financial resource available to us. We have spent more than ₹15 lakhs on her treatment, drawing not only from my income and savings, but also by selling my mother's jewellery and taking loans. The treatment has only intensified and grown expensive over time. Now we are unable to manage it on our own. We are in dire need of financial support to continue this battle. My mom needs continued medication, scans and chemotherapy every 21 days to survive. We are looking to raise funds for her continued treatment for the next 6-8 months (12 chemo cycles). We are aiming for a total amount of 10,00,000 lakhs.
