We are deeply shocked and saddened by the demise of our dearest friend, Renu Surya Pratap Murikipudi, Age 27,  in Windsor, Ontario on 30th March, 2021.  Renu Surya Pratap had just completed his master degree from University of Windsor and was in a search for a job.

He was from Hyderabad, Telangana and survived by his parents and younger sister. They are beyond devastated losing their only son in this untimely manner. They have been suffering from financial crisis for quite sometime and that was the main reason for Surya to move to Canada to provide a better life for his family. He was the sole breadwinner.

The family has now lost their only source of income and survival through the demise of Surya. There is an additional burden of the educational loan which the family will not be able to take care of.

We, his friends, colleagues and cousins, have come together to raise this funding on the sole purpose of helping their family somewhat get through the financial difficulties in front of them. They are suffering a massive and irreparable loss and this is the least we could do.

TACA (Telugu Alliances of Canada) has very kindly helped the family by supporting on the logistics to bring his mortal remains to India.

While we await for that we request all those people who were touched by the bright light of Surya at least once in their life to come forward and support his family get through this phase.
