I am Kiran Nayak, a 35 year old Below Poverty Line (BPL) Banjara tribal transman from Warangal, Telangana with 95% polio disability. I’ve been working in Chikballapur, Karnataka for a few years. Due to various structural exclusions viz. my socioeconomic and ethnic tribal location, disability, and transgender identity I have had enormous constraints imposed on me since childhood. At three, I was afflicted with polio and I am totally wheelchair-bound since then. I can’t even use crutches. The pandemic plunged my life and those of many of our disabled and transgender communities into newer lows and life has been a monstrous struggle for survival since. Despite the odds against us, I did my very best to raise and distribute aid through the pandemic to our most disenfranchised and marginalized disabled and transgender communities. To my best capacity, I strove hard to raise aid and distribute it personally on my disability-friendly two-wheeler only to ensure that I oversaw the receipt of aid to the last disabled and transgender person in my circles of control and influence. I am a well-known disability and transgender rights and human rights, activist. Much of my social work and rights-based advocacy is already widely covered in the mass media. MY MEDICAL CRISIS & EMERGENCY
At the end of January 2020, I developed mild joint pains which intensified in the fortnights ahead. In March 2020, it was diagnosed as Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cervical and Lumbar Spondylosis. The COVID - 19 pandemic followed almost immediately. Consequently, I was deprived of my urgently impending healthcare requirements for quarters on end due to the subsequent indefinite lockdowns that enormously compressed my already compromised and limited mobility. This, consequently, cut off my access to affordable and good healthcare. Eventually, when I accessed the best possible medicare through Allopathy, I was put on very strong antibiotics, NSAD pain killers, and steroids that over these two years almost wreaked havoc on my internal organs viz. liver, kidneys, and more. All throughout the consumption of such strong medicines, I felt extremely helpless and almost like a powerless lab rat being experimented upon. I am at a point now where any more allopathy is not even working. On the contrary, they are only further damaging my already frail, fragile body and highly compromised internal organ health. My body and mind are no longer able to tolerate the allopathic experiments on me. Attached within are a whole battery of diagnostics that substantiate the state of my internal organ health.
After a lot of careful consideration, some research, and deliberations with other similar disabled patients of Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cervical and Lumbar Spondylosis who have significantly and substantially recovered, I decided to switch to Ayurveda. Across some leading Ayurvedic hospitals, I did some rigorous due diligence myself and delegated some of it to my trusted confidantes. Finally, I zeroed down on one Ayurveda Centre.
HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?
After a thorough examination and a whole battery of diagnostic evaluations that cost me more than thirty-one thousand five hundred and seventy rupees (Rs. 31, 570.00), I have received a comprehensive quotation of two lakhs thirty-nine thousand seven hundred and four rupees (Rs. 2, 39, 704.00) for my holistic treatment. I am already in debt of nearly thirty-five thousand rupees (Rs. 35, 000.00) and I am unable to afford this expenditure. I shall rapidly deteriorate, deplete and die if I don’t undergo immediate Ayurvedic interventions listed in the reports.
I NEED TO URGENTLY RAISE TWO LAKHS AND SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FOUR RUPEES (RS. 2, 71, 274.00) AND LOOK UP TO YOU AND YOUR GENEROSITY TO SAVE MY LIFE
