I am  Kiran, from Ravandur. I grew up in the village, with lot of struggles and poverty, which thought me a lot, especially human suffering and ideas on how to alleviate that. Every time I failed in my life, I came out more stronger and determined to do something better in my life.

With all my life experience and small set of skills In Farming and Yoga, I started 'Community Project' around 2014, in my village, called 'anahata healing arts center'  with the mission of creating a space, where people can relax,feel calm & homely in an environment surrounded by nature, which help us to reconnect with our roots.
Initially I was working part time with people with special needs, but soon started working  towards understanding the problems that the specially-abled face in day to day life. We noticed that the problem is more deep in the rural areas, where the financial condition and thought process of the society is not favorable for the specially-abled people. Most of these people do not have access to the regular schools, community gatherings, holidays etc. We also noticed that they go through a huge amount of stress, because of lack of healthy Eco system.
Anahata is being built to address all these issues that specially-abled people face. Few years down the line  'Anahata Charitable Trust' is aiming to become an Eco-system that focus on overall well-being of specially-abled people.

In coming years, we are aiming to develop the infrastructure and team of volunteers who could support us by investing their skills. Ravandur is a village, which is located 70 kms away from Mysore city, towards Coorg. in state of karnataka. We already have rehabilitation center which is spread across one Acre of land.  The problem is access to that center is through a house which we are renting, but in few days if we don't acquire that house, we may loose it, so to acquire the house and to develop it further, we need around 20Lakhs indian Rupees immediately.  Request all of you to donate generously so that we continue our journey of helping spcially-abled people, who deserve to live their life with dignity.
