My name is Khagesh Kumar, and I come from Lakshman Nagla, post-  Sandhan a small village in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, India. I was born into a hard working family of farmers and daily wages workers. My father works as a laborer, a daily wages worker so we can survive. We are two siblings - me and my sister - and our parents have always struggled to make ends meet. Currently I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi. Despite my parent's imited education, they have always believed in the power of learning. They dreamed of a better future for me and my society, even when life made it nearly impossible. Their belief gave me the strength to study hard- often without electricity, resources in my village. I would attend classes through free YouTube lectures, especially those of Alakh Pandey Sir, who became my virtual mentor. With determination and countless sleepless nights, I cleared the IIT JEE Mains exam and NDA written exam, one of the toughest entrance exams in India. I even did part time jobs in restaurants in Delhi to support my education. My journey doesn’t complete here, now I need financial support to pursue my education and build a career that can uplift not just me, but my entire family and community.
