I recently graduated from IIT Madras with a Masters in Structural Engineering after completing my bachelors in civil engineering from Punjab Engineering College (PEC). I seek to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and civil engineering. For my master's research, I worked on applying machine learning to improve the structural design process.
I am glad to let you know that Autodesk has offered me a wonderful opportunity to attend a two week AI For Engineering summer school (ai4engineering.com) in Toronto, Canada from 12th August through 23rd August 2019 to encourage the use of AI and machine learning in traditional engineering industries. They have also offered a fellowship of $1500 CAD for the program on a reimbursement basis. Kindly find attached invitation letter.

Since I recently graduated from college and the expected total expenses amount to around $3000 CAD, I am not in a position to pay for the program by myself. Therefore I seek funds to avail this amazing opportunity aligned with my career aspirations and academic background. I would then share back my learnings to the AI and engineering community at large.
I don't want my financial background to be a barrier to my dreams and miss out this wonderful learning experience. I would request you to support me for the cause in whatsoever way possible, be it temporary financial support for two months or a donation.
The expected expenses for the program are as follows :
Registration : $ 500 CAD
Airfare: $ 2,000 CAD
Visa: $ 200 CAD
Miscellaneous: $ 300 CAD(Will try to minimize this as much as possible)
Total: $ 3,000 CAD (~$ 2248 USD ~ Rs. 1,56,436)
I would return the temporary financial support as soon as I get the reimbursement of $ 1500 CAD from AutoDesk (end of August 2019).
