Karthikeyan (3.5 years old) is my cousin. He is a cute and active kid, who wouldn't even sit for 5 mins. He will be always busy running around the house and playing. But now he is in COMA for more than 3 weeks. He fall from a height of 17 feet on 13th September. He was admitted in Krishna Childcare hospital, Tirunelveli. Now He is in COMA stage and has blood leakage in brain in many places. He is ICU for past 3 weeks (still in ICU. Am writing this on 5th Oct). He has respiration problems also. So initially he breathed with the help of ventilator. Since ventilator has many complications, after 2 weeks now he is breathing with the help of tracheostomy ( Tracheostomy is a surgically made hole on throat with a breathing tube placed through the hole to help breathing ) But still he couldn't able to breathe on his own. So alternately doctors are using ventilator and Tracheostomy. Tracheostomy opeartion was done 1 week before ( 2 weeks after the accident ). But still he is having the same problem and still he is in ICU which will be continued for next 15+ days approx. For this whole medical surgeries and treatment it will cost nearly 10 Lakhs. We managed to collect 3 Lakhs ( in which 2.2 Lakhs is debt) . Still he is in ICU and ventilator. Please take a minute and pray for my cousin for his speedy recovery.
