Help Us to Make It Green

The pandemic situation made us to think for a better tomorrow. Our aim is to spread awareness about organic food as much as we can.

The first step we are taking to initiate this awareness by challenging ourselves in transforming a dry land into organic farm eco-friendly land.

Restoring the land now will guarantee future generations so we will have the resources we need for survival. Our advances in technology and agriculture have made it possible to develop cities and conveniences that make life easier, but those come with a price and the environment often pays a hefty sum.

Farmers need to form self-help groups and involve in community farming. Additionally, a solar powered water irrigation system is necessary for making farmers even more ecological and environment-friendly as well as less dependent on fossil fuels and paid electricity.

Core Activities covered and will be achieved through the funds provided for the project will be utilized for 8 Kw Solar power grids for farming purposes and 7.5Hp Solar powered motor for water irrigation, Organic fertilizer to enhance crop health.  We also need finance for Farming equipment’s, seed production, beekeeping, fence plantation and horticulture

2020 lockdown impacts on Food and Farmers

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to increased food insecurity, losses on harvested crops, and labor shortages, which have caused distress in farm communities. According to a study by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), half of the small and medium farmers were “concerned about being able to afford inputs, particularly seeds and fertilizer, and mobilize labor” for the upcoming sowing season aggravated by the migrant worker’s crisis. Additionally, about one-fourth were forced to dump crops because of the lockdown and lack of access to storage. Meanwhile, the landless are getting knocked out by the shutdown of the rural economy.

Your generosity is noteworthy. Thank you so much in advance for your support for our fund raising.
