Life is so unpredictable and this family has experienced the worst of it. Things were going well for Karan’s family until this tragedy struck in a most unexpected way. Their lives turned upside down. Karan was only 27 years old and was battling for his life in the ICU as a result of a tragic accident on the night of the 10th of January. To make matters worse, he tested positive for COVID-19 and he was on life support. On the 15th of January, God decided to take him back.

It was a regular day at work and while returning home, Karan met with an accident. He suffered severe accidental injuries – Karan was brought to the hospital unconscious. Scans revealed brain stem injury and multiple facial fractures. He had been on ventilator support since then.

His sudden death on the 15th of January has left his friends and family devastated.

The grieving family includes his loving mother, sister and grandmother. Karan was the sole breadearner of his family had great plans for them. It is unfortunate that he is not here to fulfill them. We wanted to start this fundraiser to help his mother for a secure future for her. Please help this family in need!

Karan was a young, dynamic and talented cinematographer in the Indian television and ad industry. Just two days ahead of the accident, Karan had received an Indian Telly Award as an Additional Photographer for Ladakh Warriors, a documentary on Discovery Channel.

Karan was fun-loving and loved to spend time with his family. There was never a dull moment with him around. He has always been there for any of his friends in need.
