For over 10 years Kamaljeet struggled day and night to organise Ola, Uber drivers in Delhi. He was there when drivers met with accidents or got robbed or died or at the police stations when they were in trouble, or leading them in dharnas or meeting the minister with drivers demands. He became an all India leader of drivers when elected as the Vice President of Indian Federation of App based Transport Workers (IFAT).
Today Kamaljeet the braveheart is fighting to save his own life. Suffering a brain hemorrhage he is on ventilator support at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi.
He never found time to attend to his family and the crisis is now showing. The family is in dire need of money for medical treatment and to survive.
