My name is Papiya Chakrabarti and I am here to raise funds for my mate Kajol Das. She is 50 years old and lives in Konnagar, West Bengal. She is suffering from Non-small cell lung cancer from last few months. The cancer is about to spread all over her lungs for which the doctors are suspecting it could be stage 2.

Kajol Das is an orphan, unmarried woman and had no other relatives including brothers or sisters who can bear the expenses for her cancer treatment and who can support her in this tough time. She was also having accute bronchitis from last few years.

She is currently admitted in a Hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal where she is receiving Chemotherapy & Radiotherapy.

She used to stay with my mother who is already 75 years old and is a diabetic patient which makes it completely impossible for her to accomodate such treatment including chemotherapy for Kajol. We have able to arrange a small part of the amount from our savings & my mother has also arranged for some amount as a part of a loan.
