I am Reshu Gupta Goyal, daughter of Kailash Chand Gupta(aged 63 years). Like any daughter staying away from her parents in this pandemic, I too was anxious to hear that my family back in Jaipur had contracted the deadly virus on 27th April. And very soon my fears came alive when my younger brother informed us that my parents had to hospitalized. Traveling those 1600kms to be around them, was the longest journey of my life. The fear of not being able to see them ever again was killing me each moment. By God’s grace, my mother defeated the virus was discharged after 10 Days but my father developed severe post covid complications where his lungs were damaged more than 90% And has been in hospital/ventilator since 3rd MayThe battle is very long and we are emotionally and financially exhausted. But I haven't lost hope! Please help me keep my hope and my pillar of strength, my dear Papa, alive. I know you all would have come across a lot of such requests in the recent past, so did I. Life has been so so unpredictable since we first heard the name of the COVID 19 virus. I did my bit when I was fortunate enough to be on your side, but for now, I and my younger brother seek your help.
