“How can God be so cruel?” The burden of fate keeps on haunting Heena Sharma whose patience is slowly giving up as every day counts. She is a house-wife and resident of 5mile Tadong under Tadong Constituency East Sikkim  .

Her husband Kabiraj Sharma was working as a salesman in a small shop. Everything seemed to have been going well until his legs started swelling. Local medications were started but it could not give good results. Suddenly everything seemed to fall down when proper diagnose revealed that Kabiraj Sharma was actually suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and was in Stage 5. The disease took over all the savings. The situation further worsened when he lost his job due to the corona crisis.

Their only son Advik Sharma is also suffering from Attention Deficient Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). All the savings of the poor family are almost finished.
During these day the health of Kabiraj Sharma has been declining rapidly. Doctors at Neotia Getwel Health Care, Siliguri have recommended for an urgent kidney transplant as the only hope to cure him. The cost for medical tests, operation and post-operative care comes to around 20 lakhs.
