Hello all,
My name is Sanket Badhe, raising funds for my mother, Jyoti Badhe, battling with Covid-19 for the last 34 days (29 days in the ICU). Her HRCT severity score is 25/25 i.e. 100% of her lungs are infected. Initially, on 29th April 2021, her Covid RT-PCR was positive, and we immediately admitted her to the local hospital. After 5 days her Oxygen saturation levels dropped to 76% and we shifted her to the ICU of RIMS hospital, Amravati. Her HRCT score was 21/25 at the time of admission. After a week, her condition worsened and HRCT severity score reached 25/25. She has been on NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation) for the last 22 days but her oxygen dependency is really high and not reducing.
Doctor recommended that she should be transferred to a better hospital for pulmonary rehabilitation and if required, lung transplant. For next steps, I am already in contact with Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. My family has already paid for the expenses till now and we are financially short for the next steps of her treatment. As the required amount is huge, I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help during this time of need. Each contribution is very important for us!

About my mother:
I come from a lower-middle-class family and my mother lived a frugal life for my better future. My mother always taught me about the importance of education which inspired me to get into IIT Roorkee. I had a dream of pursuing master's in the USA. Despite financial difficulties, she was the one who supported me throughout. I completed my master’s on May 10. I just started a job less than a month ago. Currently, I don't have finances and have a pending loan to pay.
