    This fundraiser will benefit

    Underprivileged students

    from Bengaluru, Karnataka

GOAL :
Make 8000+ underprivileged students from government schools resume learning.
Providing them an equal opportunity to learn in the lockdown period.
700+ hours of Telugu, Hindi, Urdu lectures to be recorded, distributed.
20 mentors to work ardently in reaching out to parents and establish learning networks.
1 mission - TO KEEP THE LEARNING GOING.
The COVID lockdown has brought learning to a halt across the country. The private schools are now running live classes digitally with the same teachers.

A brief video about the fundraiser

The underprivileged students from the government schools have no access to lectures or mentors. The only source which a lot of government school teachers have been circulating are references which they could collate. Understanding the impact this lockdown can have on the academic performance,  learning curves, and career paths of thousands of students, we've put this project together.
We see that this pause in learning can lead to failures in the board examination, halts in learning careers, the building of phobia for subjects which need practice (MATH!), and most importantly DROPOUTS.
We want to do our bit to avoid such outcomes.

Understanding this and the language barrier in these government schools, we are putting together a team of math trainers who are proficient in Telugu, Hindi, and Urdu to create detailed learning, recap, and practice video lecture content, worksheets, exercises for students from class V to class XI.

Our Past Work

Exploring Infinities is a math education startup I founded, that has worked extensively across India (50+ schools and a government education project) in establishing arithmetic literacy. Founded in 2018, EI has impacted 10,000+ students.

Having worked on social impact projects like Project Infinity: Arithmetic Literacy in Govt. schools and to be soon working on Project InfinityKid across 150 government schools in Telangana, which was aimed specifically to eradicate math phobia and increase board passing rates, EI understands the importance of continuity in learning during this LOCKDOWN period.

Over 700 hours of lectures will be recorded in this Project: Math in Lockdown.

Over 8000 students in the government schools, will be personally mentored through Whatsapp groups which we are establishing through our network of NGOs, Headmasters.

While 2000 kids are our initial target, we are optimistic that we will reach more than 5000 students by the end of the project.

The video lecture content shall be shared and exercises distributed. The parents of these underprivileged students will be brought into the conversation through specific calls from the team to make them understand the importance of making their child study the right way in the pandemic time.

The funds raised in this fundraiser will be used to compensate the trainers who are working tirelessly to create the content, the production costs, spent on human resources, spent on bringing together networks, printing material, and establishing multiple channels to distribute content (IVR Classes on Voice Call, Doubt Clarifications over a phone call, recommending study schedules on messages).

Your support can help us carry out this very important project and help 2000+ students who are in need.

Every donor shall be mentioned and credited towards the end of the videos which will be recorded.
For donations > 5,000Rs., a scholarship shall be given out in your name to fund a top-performing student.

Please do share it in your circles! Your contribution can bring about real change!
