Jeeva, a carpenter at Sholai school for 14 years, has recently been blessed with twins, after many years of marriage. Unfortunately they were born prematurely (at 7 months) and now need to be kept in an incubator for the next five weeks to ensure their survival.

The devastating truth of the matter is that to keep one child in an incubator costs ₹12000 / day and for two its ₹24000, in addition other hospital costs such as room rent, travelling costs and medicines brings the cost upto ₹28000/day or more. The twins need to be kept in the incubator for another 5 weeks, which totals to over 5 lakhs. Jeeva's savings were all drained during the Caesarean delivery surgery his wife went through and is therefore now in a predicament.

This beautiful process of child birth has been a hard struggle for Jeeva and his family. He is a humble, hard working man, who does not have the resources to meet these costs on his own.
