Kattumalaiyanur government high school has 210 students enrolled from class 1-9. We have 134 kids from class 6-9. In the coming academic year 2019-20, we will be having class X also. The current building has only three classrooms . We are in need of two more class rooms . We are planning to build a two class room building with metal roofing and also we are in need of a computer lab for our students. Digital India will be possible only if rural kids get the opportunity to learn computers. Currently we have only one computer to teach all of them which makes computer class impossible. So our dream is to get a class room and a computer lab for our students.

SATTVA, a charitable trust has accepted to build a class room for us meeting the above requirements. We joined hands with them to raise the necessary amount. We had some well wishers who donated generously towards our effort. Still we are in need of three more lakhs for the building purpose and another three lakhs to set up a computer lab with enough computers for our students. We have provided here the quote for the class room, the plan for the class room, the quote we got for the necessary furniture for the class rooms. We also have got a quote for a computer required for the lab. Each system costs around 20,000.So here , I am  starting a campaign to help my school get a class room and a computer lab. The quote for the furniture was initially taken including primary classes also, But now due to deficit of funds we are about to buy furniture for class IX and X only.Each set of bench has been quoted around 5200+tax. we are in need of 25 benches.
