Hi, I am Baisali Sandillya. I have completed my B. Tech and currently unemployed.
I'm the daughter of Shri. Jayanta Kumar Sarma and Smt. Sunu Devi.I'm the only child of my parents. My father works in a private company while my mother is a homemaker. My father was diagnosed with heart related ailments in 2016. He has been carrying a pacemaker in his heart ever since.Besides the mental and physical stress due to his health,we have been facing several financial difficulties. He has undergone three surgeries till date. First surgery performed on him was in 2016, second one in 2021, and recently he underwent his third one. However, unfortunately an infection started emerging around his pacemaker right after his second surgery in 2021, which is medically termed as pacemaker pocket infection.
At present, our family is perhaps going through the most difficult time in order to getting my father recovered from the infection and it's major health risks on him. Left with no alternative option, he has to undergo another surgery (third) and subsequent treatment as early as possible. He is required to stay in ICU for about 25 odd days under strict medical supervision. ICU charges per day are extremely high to afford. Apart from that, he has to undergo a surgery in order for the infected tissues getting removed using a negative pressure wound therapy, post that a plastic surgery is essential for the body part that will be surgically removed. Later, another new pacemaker is to be placed in his heart in order to bring his body back to functioning normally. Considering, all the above course of actions as planned by doctors, huge financial backup is required which is impossible for my family to get in such short span of time, without your support. I hereby, humbly request you all to come forward and contribute within your possible capacity and help my father recover from this completely. I am sure, even small contributions from each one of you could make it possible for us to raise the fund as required. My family and I shall remain ever grateful to you all. Warm Regards.
